As visitors to our website, you are required to accept the terms and conditions outlined below in return for the information about our business and the services we provide. Conditions of use of website

  1. We use our reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on our web pages. Information is for your guidance only and is not intended to form any part of a contract and can be subject to change without notice. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or cumulative losses or damages arising out of the use or inability to use these pages, any errors, misrepresentations or omissions on the material contained on them.
  2. The information on these web pages has been prepared with reasonable care and is believed by us to be legal, honest, decent and truthful as of the date of its preparation.
  3. You agree that the material downloaded or otherwise accessed through the use of our web pages is obtained entirely at your own risk and that you will be entirely responsible for any resulting damage to software or computer systems and/or any resulting loss of data even if we have been advised of the possibility of any such damage.

TRAINING

MEMBERSHIPS/ PACKAGES 

  • Members are able to sign up for HIKEFit, STAYFit, FITAAA, GENTLEFit, BOXFit, YOGAFit, PILATESFit  and TREKFit  Training, and any other training programs offered by SRFC (subject to availability of spaces within group and fitness assessments). However, depending on the nature of a particular activity certain minimum qualifying requirements may apply, that are at the discretion of SRFC.
  • Change of Details: It is the members responsibility to  keep SRFC informed of your current address, phone numbers, emergency contact, email address, current medical details and any other details relevant to your membership.
  • There are no refunds, or credits for unattended (late cancelled/no show) sessions. There are no extensions on the expiry dates on these products.
  • Exceptional medical circumstances:  For injuries or illnesses supported by a medical certificate, an membership or package pack may be extended at the discretion of SRFC, when a request is put in writing. Extensions cannot be back dated. The medical certificate must be provided within one (1) week of the written notification or the extension will be revoked.
  1. HIKEFIT PROGRAM
    • On enrolling for HIKEFit Training you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
    • You must book in to your desired sessions in advance using PTMinder.
    • If you fail to book in advance please do not just turn up to Training as we have a max of 15 clients per session. If you cannot attend, you must cancel out of the session within 15 hours, or a session will be deducted from your account.
    • Unused HIKEFit sessions cannot be transferred, refunded or extended unless exceptional medical circumstances exist supported by a medical certificate.
    • There are no refunds, or credits for unattended (late cancelled/no show) sessions. There are no extensions on the expiry dates on these products.
  1.  Classes , including HIKEFit, STAYFit, FITAAA, GENTLEFit, BOXFit, YOGAFit, PILATESFit are offered under a Membership, Package or casual basis.
    • MEMBERSHIPS are offered on a MONTHLY basis of unlimited classes.  Prices are as per the schedule on PTMinder, and are subject to change.  Training sessions cannot be transferred, refunded or extended unless exceptional medical circumstances exist supported by a medical certificate.
    • 10 class PACKAGES are offered with a 16 week timeframe.  Your 10 sessions are activated from the date of the first Class, any of the classes can be used with your 10 class pack , based on session availability.
    • If there is availability, you can attend any Class by purchasing a single class casual attendance pass via the PTMINDER website

FEES

Whether you are participating in one of our Fitness Classes, Yoga or PiIates Classes or a HIKEFit Program, all are defined as classes.

As of Jan 2023 , casual fees per class are  $42/Class , however you can  purchase a 10pack of GYM Class (to be used within 16 weeks) for $275

You can upgrade to UNLIMITED classes per month at the same price. This is especially beneficial to anyone taking advantage of our Face to Face or VIRTUAL fitness, Yoga, Pilates classes as well as the hikes .

An additional Fee of $4.50 will be added for any HIKE untaken within your package.  This free is paid to NSW Parks and Wildlife Services.  Fees will be adjusted a the end of the month

HIKEFit ONLY packages are also available , which include the NSW Parks and Wildlife Services fee

We offer a HIKEFit packs, consisting of 4 , 10 , 20 or 30 hikes
10 Hike pack is value at $320 (valid for 4 months)
20 Hike pack s value at $600 (valid for 8 months )
30 Hike pack is the best value for money at $885 (valid 12months)

SCHEDULED CHANGES: 

SRFC reserves the right to make changes to the current timetable/schedule. Every effort will be made to inform you of these changes in a timely manner.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION

You must cancel your scheduled booking at least 15hrs before the session if you are no longer able to attend

If SRFC cancels a session, those still registered for the class will not be charged for that session.

CLIENT CANCELLATION – FEES APPLY

Please note SRFC has a 15hour cancellation and no-show policy. If you do not attend the Training session we will still be obliged to pay certain overheads on your behalf such as: our coach/ guides fees, staff, insurance, licences, administration expenses and all other overheads in connection with our Programs

Cancellation free period —  15 hours

 NO SHOW  (that’s means, trainer was not notified of you missing a class)

  • Maximum Cancellation Fee $40
  • Actual Fee :
    • Unlimited Membership : the difference between $40 and your Average Monthly Class Price*
    • 10 Class pack : Class forfeited plus $15

Less than 15 hours cancellation notification

  • Maximum Cancellation Fee $26.50
  • Actual Fee :
    • Unlimited Membership : the difference between $26.50 and your Average Monthly Class Price
    • 10 Class pack :  Class forfeited

The average monthly class fee is different for everyone as it is calculated based on “your monthly fee / number of classes per month”

Some clients come 12 times per month others 28 times ..

Some clients are >65 with a special discount,  and others are on a three month plan.

The calculation of your personal fee will be displayed on the invoice

 

Rescheduling a class within the 15hours cancellation period MAY invoke a Cancellation fee

Its rare that someone wakes up and is seriously ill, if that is the case … Cancellation Fees  MAY be waived, but not guaranteed

At the end of the month, I will add any fees to your account and forward an invoice .

LOW CLASS NUMBERS    ** will be assessed 15 hours before scheduled class times

UPGRADE to SEMI PRIVATE

If there are not enough members to justify a ‘Class’ , you will be given the option to upgrade

This will still like a normal …. NOT a PT Session*

A “class” will still be recorded against your package, and an upgrade fee will apply , which will be invoiced at the end of the month.

  • 1:1 UPGRADE Price $40  (one client only)
  • 2:1 UPGRADE Price $20 each  (two clients only)

You will be given notice by text , and asked if you wish to “upgrade”

If three clients participate .. it is back to the standard “class” .. no upgrade required

*“what is a PT session” : a personally designed workout based on your exact requirements

PT Session are priced at $80 for 45mins

PERSONAL TRAINING CANCELLATION POLICY EFFECTIVE Jan 10th 2022

Cancellation free period —  24 hours

If you need to cancel or reschedule your PT session, we require 24 hours notice

If the trainer can reschedule you for the same week, no penalty applies

If you cannot be rescheduled and you cancel less than 24hours a 50% charge of your PT Session applies

 

RISK & INSURANCE

SRFC’s coaches / guides are qualified in first aid, insured for public liability. They are appropriately skilled for the activities offered by SRFC.

  1. Your Health – At the time of joining a package with SRFC you confirm that:
    • you have general good health
    • you have an appropriate level of fitness and well-being for the activities that you elect to undertake with SRFC
    • you have disclosed to SRFC all medical conditions, medications, allergies, intolerances, food requirements or injuries that may affect your ability to undertake activities with SRFC
    • you know of no medical or other reason (other than as disclosed by you) why you cannot do active exercise or your ability to undertake activities with SRFC
  1. Acceptance of Risk
    • Agree to the HIKEFit and TREKFit waiver form
    • You must at all times indemnify SRFC and hold SRFC and its officers, employees and agents harmless from and against all actions, claims, charges, costs, expenses, losses, damages and other liability arising out of or otherwise in connection with any wilful, unlawful or negligent conduct of you in connection with your membership of SRFC .
    • If you select for any reason to leave the supervision of your coach/guide during any activity with SRFC, or if you decide not to participate in a supervised activity with SRFC, then you accept that you do so at your own risk and you are fully responsible and are otherwise liable for any illness, injury or death to you or those accompanying you once you leave the supervision of your coach / guide.
    • SRFC strongly advises all members to ensure that they have appropriate insurance, medical and ambulance cover for any loss, damage or injury that may arise out of or in connection with participating in an activity with SRFC.
    • HIKEFit Training will operate regardless of weather conditions, except in the case of lightning or electrical storms, or where deemed unsafe by the coach/guide or if for any reason conditions are such that SRFC’s insurance would be void or voided for the activity. The coach/guide may choose a suitable alternate venue or route. The route or venue may not be the same as proposed if it is deemed unsafe but SRFC and its coaches/guides will use their reasonable endeavours to find a suitable substitute.
    • Part of the appeal of adventure trips & trek training is that they operate in remote, harsh & unpredictable environments. They are by their nature challenging and demanding. When you participate in a HIKEFit or TREKFit Program with SRFC, you agree to accept the inherent risks and dangers associated with any activity and the accompanying risk of injury, death or property loss or damage.

PRIVACY POLICY

STATEMENT OF CONFINEMENT

Sterling Results Fitness Club is committed to protecting your privacy and any personal information we collect. Sterling Results Fitness Club complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains how we may collect, use, disclose and otherwise handle personal and sensitive information.

Sterling Results Fitness Club is committed to safeguarding personal privacy. It recognises that individuals have a right to control how their personal information is collected and used. Providing personal information is an act of trust and it is taken seriously.

COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy personal information may mean some or all of the following: a member’s name, contact details, date of birth, emergency contact details, bank account and/or credit card details, student identification details, employment details, payment history and sensitive information.

Sterling Results Fitness Club will not collect or monitor any personal information about an individual without their consent.  The only personal information collected is what is provided voluntarily by a member or prospective member.

We collect personal information primarily to enable us to provide members with our services.

COLLECTING SENSITIVE INFORMATION

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy sensitive information means the information a member has disclosed to us about their physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Sensitive information will only ever be used for providing services to members. Such information will not be used or disclosed for any other purposes without consent, except in exceptional cases when disclosure may be required by law or is necessary to protect the rights or property of Sterling Results Fitness Club, or any member of the public, or to lessen a serious threat to a person’s health or safety. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy sensitive information is a subset of personal information.

STORAGE AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL AND/OR SENSITIVE INFORMATION

Sterling Results Fitness Club takes all reasonable steps to keep secure personal information recorded and to keep this information accurate and up to date. The personal information is stored on secure servers if in digital format, or in locked areas if in hardcopy format.

Sterling Results Fitness Club employees and data processors are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal and/or sensitive information held by Sterling Results Fitness Club. Sterling Results Fitness Club only permits authorised personnel to access your information and information will only be disclosed to third parties where they have the appropriate authority. We destroy or de- identify personal information we no longer need, wherever possible.

COVID 19 POLICY

The following COVID SAFE rules are in place based on Government advice:?  Dependent upon what the Government recommends , your HIKECOACH may request to see you COVID Vaccination record prior the hike
?  If we cannot validate your Covid Vaccine record, you MAY not be able to hike and your hike fee will be forfeited
?  We encourage every member to bring a FaceMask on the hike and wear it until the hike begins, and after the hike concludes
? We encourage every member to bring their own hand sanitiser for the hike.
? We request that every member thinks of others safety as well as their own, by keeping at the 1.5m spatial distancing on the hikes
?  The HIKECoach has complete authority to remove any hiker not respecting our Covid Safe Rules .

? If you are not feeling well on the morning of the hike, please let your HIKEFit Coach know , do not attend the hike and please go and be tested .. You will not be charged for the hike.
