Sterling Results Fitness Club was established by Sonia Wray. At 52 years of age Sonia realised that to a live healthier and happier life was an important factor to aging; as such she transformed her career from a senior executive to a Personal Fitness Trainer, where her moto is being “Fit, Fabulous and Over 50”.

After completing her certifications Sonia focuses on clients just like her, those who are, or who want to be ‘Fit, Fabulous and Over 50’. Sonia’s philosophy is to hire trainers who are of similar background or appreciate the needs and challenges of the targeted clientele.

Sonia is a lover of trekking high altitude mountains and golf, as such she has designed programs specifically focused on these areas. Since founding Sterling Results Fitness Club, Sonia has repeated the benefits of living a healthier and fitter lifestyle, she has reduced her cholesterol and blood pressure readings, lost over 10kg, dramatically changed shape and is a much healthier post-menapausal women!

Sonia witnessed too many people struggle physically when going on their adventures of a lifetime, as such she wanted to help those embarking on a trek to be physically and mentally prepared. She loves helping clients get fitter in nature through her HIKEfit Program as well as building clients resistance to bone damage through her personal fitness training.

Sonia is also a lover of trekking

She will help prepare you for the
trek of a lifetime, or ensure your Golf handicap reduces through specific fitness programs.

Meg Thompson

Yoga Trainer

Meg is our yogi direct from “The Yoga Deck” in Castlecrag. Drawing on her 18 years yoga practice she can adapt the poses to suit the individual’s needs, meaning every class is tailor-made.

Alice Willenbrock

Fitness and Pilates

Alice got into the fitness business to offer an alternative to those who value the joy of movement and self improvement over superficial body transformation goals.  Alice has a degree in Exercise Science+Cert III & IV in Fitness  + certs in Pilates &  Yogalates.

Juliana Davidson

Fitness

Juliana is passionate about helping others use tailored strength endurance and cardio exercise to achieve improved health and quality of life. As a cardio lover, You might see Juliana on her morning run or with a cycling group around the lower north shore.  Juliana lives in Lane cove , has her Certs III and IV in Fitness.

Nicola Moran

Hike Coach

Nicola is a well known Hike Leader in NSW, she has a passion to help others become more confident as well as stronger, fitter and more socially connected. Nicola offers a range of Fitness Classes , plus our Monday and Friday hikes.

The HIKEFit program is a great way to improve fitness, and enjoy good company. Coaches are knowledgeable about all aspects of hiking & they keep you safe. I wanted a challenge for my sixtieth year and set my sights on hiking the Overland Track in Tassie. I wanted to enter my next decade fitter than the last! Around a year ago I joined Sonia’s Hikefit program. I’m now fitter, stronger and more confident and I’ve met some wonderful people on our weekend hikes. And this week I have a grin wider than the mountain ranges I’ve just traversed on the Overland Track – we smashed it!

My gym closed down as a result of Covid-19 and a friend suggested I joined Sterling Fitness online classes. I live in Adelaide and Sterling Fitness is in Sydney, but I thought I’d give it a go. In the end I attended between 2-4 classes every week online for 8 weeks.

Sonia the trainer (and owner) did a fabulous job, I really felt apart of the classes (even over Zoom), getting the necessary adjustments if I wasn’t doing a move correctly, and most importantly getting me the motivation I needed to keep fit!
